Lecture on Robotic Sacrocolpopexy

Robotic Sacrocolpopexy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to correct pelvic organ prolapse, particularly vaginal vault prolapse. Using robotic assistance, the surgeon attaches a surgical mesh from the vagina (or cervix, if the uterus is present) to the sacrum (lower backbone), providing strong and lasting support.

*Reduced postoperative pain
*Faster recovery compared to open surgery
It is considered the gold standard for treating apical prolapse because of its high success rates and durabilit
